Passionate about all underwater exploration, started diving in 1992 and has been actively surveying and exploring underwater cave systems and historical shipwrecks since 1995. After a decade of intense WWI and WWII shipwreck research and identification, he turned his efforts into cave diving where he has been actively involved in exploration and research projects in Italy, France, Mexico, Portugal Spain and Bosnia. Currently he is Project Manager of the Baseline Sardinia activities, organising and planning team activities for 50 diving members, which has resulted in the publication of several scientific papers. As a GUE rec and cave Instructor Trainer he enjoys transferring his knowledge and expertise both to passionate recreational divers and experienced cave divers. Whenever not diving he enjoys kitesurfing and face planting.
